Proven professional process

All projects begin with an exploratory meeting where we can discuss what you are trying to accomplish and how I can help. During this meeting I will collect all of the information needed to produce a project specification and quotation.

I will submit a quotation and project specification that details:

  • Content Type
  • Target audience
  • Point in the sales process it will be used
  • Background material needed
  • Format or template of content (sections, sub heads)
  • Timeline
  • Revision(s) included
  • Cost

After the quotation and project specification are signed off I schedule one check-in call before I deliver a first draft. This is your opportunity to emphasize or re-iterate important messages. It also allows me to ask any questions that have arisen while working on the piece.

Typically, a first draft would be delivered in a week from the time I receive the background materials. You can expect this draft to be a complete version. You can deliver feedback in writing, on a call or in person. I then take your comments and prepare the final draft. This typically takes two to three days.
